Golden Oldies Acoustic Show

During the daytime Colin performs his amazing Morning Melodies Show- “Golden Oldies”.
This show is perfect for Morning Melodies, packed with brilliant songs from that magical era of music

“The 60’s”

TV’s were small and black & white (if you had one!).
There was no internet, no mobiles, no smart phone…BUT…the music was changing the world.

England was buzzing with bands such as The Beatles, The Hollies, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Searches, The Animals, Herman’s Hermits.

The USA had Elvis, The Everly Brothers, Bobby Vee, Bobby Darin, The Drifters, The Righteous Brothers, Roy Orbison…the list goes on and on..

In Colin’s 60’s Golden Oldies Music Show, these fabulous songs are revisited and played on acoustic guitar.

Colin’s amazingly rich vocals can hit all the high notes to recreate the sounds of the 60’s once again.

Colin is from Manchester in England, home of The Hollies, Herman’s Hermits, The Searches, Freddy and the Dreamers, to name just a few.

In fact, Colin’s father actually attended school with Graham Nash of The Hollies! British Invasion Royalty right there.
Get up and have a jive, or sit back and listen, this show will take you back to where it all began.

What to expect:

You can make requests from my specially created song list, containing around 150 of the great tunes from the 50’s 60’s and 70’s.

So, whatever mood you are in, get ready for a treat.

You haven’t heard songs live like this since the originals toured the club scene.

The Golden Oldies Music Show is perfect for Sunshine Coast Morning Melodies or entertainment at Retirement Villages.

I shall remember todays performance for a very long time. Your rendition of He Aint Heavy brought tears to my eyes. I lost my brother many years ago, and this was our song. Thank you so much.
